Dr Ifeanyi J. Ezema, the University Librarian Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Library and Information Science from University of Nigeria Nsukka. He obtained a Doctoral Degree in Information Science from the same university. Dr. Ezema is a Chartered Librarian with over twenty years of experience as a librarian and information consultant. He has worked in many higher institutions of learning including Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana Afikpo, University of Nigeria Nsukka, and University of South Africa Pretoria.
Dr. Ezema is a Research Fellow in the Department of Information Science, University of South Africa. His research interest is in Bibliometrics, Scientometrics, Informetrics, Digital Libraries, and Social Media. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Trends in Libraries, Information Science and Technology – a Journal of Nigeria Library Association Enugu State Chapter. He is the current National Chairman of the Academic and Research Libraries Section of NLA. He is also a member of many professional associations such as Nigeria Library Association (NLA), Library and Information Technology Today (LITT), International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA. He is happily married with children.
